Plunk Foundation’s Mission
The Plunk Foundation is dedicated to promoting digital data privacy for women, children, and marginalized communities.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between those
who have access to digital privacy tools
and knowledge and those who do not.
We strive to empower individuals and communities so they have autonomy over their digital identities and protect their sensitive information.
The Plunk Foundation is committed to developing and promoting the use of technology that is easy to use, publicly available, and equitable. We believe that by providing access to these tools and promoting digital literacy and skills training, we can bridge the digital divide in data privacy. We aim to equitably empower individuals and communities to take control of their digital identities and protect their sensitive information. Our approach is centered on collaboration with vulnerable individuals, community leaders, subject matter experts, and technology companies to identify gaps in access to digital privacy resources and develop solutions to address these issues. HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, SOC 3, and SOC for Cybersecurity compliant,
The Plunk Foundation’s legacy will be one of empowerment and equity. We envision a world where everyone has access to digital privacy tools and knowledge, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. By promoting access to these resources and empowering individuals and communities to take control of their digital identities, we hope to inspire a generation of digitally savvy and empowered individuals who are equipped to navigate the digital world with confidence and security. Our legacy will be one of transformational change, where the digital divide is bridged, and marginalized communities are empowered to take control of their digital privacy.
We recognize the importance of digital data privacy for women, children, and marginalized communities. We understand that these groups are often the most vulnerable to the negative consequences of digital data privacy breaches and lack the resources and knowledge necessary to protect their sensitive information. Our foundation is committed to raising awareness of these issues and providing access to resources that can help bridge this gap.
